Can people from the Columbia area use the library?
YES! Those who live in the Columbia area are welcome to use our library. In order to check out books, an account is needed, which costs $25 and is good for 1 year.
Can community patrons use the library databases?
No, library resources are only available to CIU faculty, staff, and students (and 2 to CIU alumni).
Can community patrons get books from other libraries at CIU?
No, community patrons only have access to the books at the CIU library. Try your public library for interlibary loans.
