Numbering Systems
Many word study books make use of numbering systems to make it easier to find the exact word you are looking for. Though a book might have its own numbering system, most use either the Strong's numbering system or the G/K numbering system. All of the G/K books have indexes at the back to cross-reference between the two numbering systems.
1. Determine a word to study.

2. Identify the original Greek/Hebrew word and note:

3. Create a list of every occurrence of the word in the Bible.

4. Study the background and other usages of the word in Biblical and extra Biblical literature.
